     Andy/DL3YM plans to get on the air during his spare while in Ho Chi
     Minh City from Feb. 16 until March 18 as XV9YM on 40-10m (CW only).

9U, Burundi:
     Shabu/M0KRI is going to put Burundi on the air with the callsign
     9U4RI between the 15th and 25th on 40-10m on CW, SSB, and PSK31.

BV, Taiwan:
     Yosuke/JJ1DQR will be signing BW/homecall from Taipei (AS-020)
     between Feb. 19 and 19 on HF. QSL via JJ1DQR (d/B).

C5, The Gambia:
     Alan/G4DJX is going on a trip to The Gambia together with a group
     of school pupils from the 16th to 23rd. During his spare time he
     plans to operate as C5DX on 40-10m (CW only). QSL via G4DJX (d),

D4, Cape Verde:
     Philip/HB9HFD is going to operate as D44TAQ from Sao Vicente
     (AF-086) between Feb. 17 and 22. QRV on 40-10m on the various

F, France:
     Members of the radio club F6KMB are going to operate as TM6C from
     Feb. 16 until March 24 around the traditional Dunkirk Carnival. QSL
     via F6KMB.

FG, Guadeloupe:
     Philippe/F1DUZ will be back on the air as FG4KH from Guadeloupe
     (NA-102). QRV from Feb. 18 until March 11 on SSB and FT8. QSL via

FJ, Saint Barthelemy:
     Jeff/VA3QSL plans to operate from St. Barthelemy (NA-146) on the
     16th and 17th as FJ/VA3SQL on 40-6m (CW, SSB, digital modes). QSL

FM, Martinique:
     Armin/DK9PY will be active holiday-style from Martinique (NA-107)
     between Feb. 18 and March 5, signing FM/DK9PY on HF. QSL via DK9PY

HC, Ecuador:
     Bill/K5YG operates as HC5MWT from Cuenca between the 18th and 23rd.
     QRV on HF, mostly on CW, some SSB, RTTY, and FT8. QSL via K5YG (d),

HI, Dominican Republic:
     Dave/WJ2O plans to get on the air as WJ2O/HI3 from Puerto Plata
     between the 13th and 20th, including the ARRL DX CW Contest. QSL

JD, Ogasawara:
     Nobu/JA0JHQ will be active again as JD1BOW from Chichijima (AS-031)
     between Feb. 15 and 18 with a focus on the ARRL DX CW Contest. QSL

OE, Austria:
     Alex/OE3DMA joins the 16th Antarctic Activity Week as OE16AAW
     (WAP-284, OEFF-0077) from the 16th to 24th. QSL via OE3DMA.

PJ4, Bonaire:
     Noah/K2NG, John/K4BAI, Jeff/KU8E, and John/W2ID are going to sign
     PJ4/homecalls from Bonaire (SA-006) between Feb. 13 and 20. During
     the ARRL contest they will use the callsign PJ4A. QSL for PJ4A,
     PJ4/K4BAI, PJ4/KU8E via K4BAI, PJ4/K2NG via WA2HNA, PJ4/W2ID via
     W2ID.

PY0F, Fernando de Noronha:
     Marenga/PU0FDN, Ville/PY2ZEA/OH2MM, and Renner/PY7RP are going to
     pay Fernando de Noronha a visit for the ARRL DX CW contest. QRV as
     PY0F from the 13th to 18th with a focus on the low bands (CW, SSB,

T31, Central Kiribati:
     Guenter/DL2AWG, Hans/DL6JGN, Heye/ DJ9RR, Norbert/DF6FK, Joe/DK5WL,

     AI47df) from Feb. 16 until March 5. QRV as T31EU with 3 rigs on 160

V3, Belize:
     V3T will be operated by WC0W, K5PI, W5MJ, NM0C, WW0G, AD0KH, and

YS, El Salvador:
     Watch out for Will/AA4NC operating as YS1/AA4NC between Feb. 13 and
     20, including the ARRL DX CW Contest, on HF (CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8).

Dr. Reinhard Fendler «Rei» – DL6DQW SK:
     On January 17 Dr. Reinhard Fendler – DL6DQW, well-known DXer, IOTA
     hunter and activator, passed away. Between 2001 and 2015 he
     activated several IOTA groups as C98RF as well as went on
     DXpeditions as 5Q1RF, 8Q7RF, C91RF/p, C94KF, C96KF, WH7B, and
     3DA0RF.

16. Antarctic Activity Week:
     The days from Feb. 16 to 24 will see the 16th Antarctic Activity

P29NI Cancelled:
     The activation of Manus Island (OC-025; P29VCX) had to be stopped
     early and the acitvation of Daru Island (OC-153; P29NI) had to be
     cancelled entirely for security reasons.
